My name is Andy Knapper and I have been a professional photographer since 2008. Since picking up a camera at a young age, it has barely been out of my hands. I love all types of photography, from macro to landscape (you can see examples of my other work on my blog), but my heart lies with reportage photography. I love to capture the emotion of the moment as it unfolds, and creating something that can store a memory forever.

Born and bred in Stoke on Trent, I have found that people’s tastes vary from quirky to traditional when it comes to capturing their special day in a photograph.

I enjoy experimentation, and I owned one of the very first digital cameras as it came out on the market, and this helps me with my other passion, the finishing touch. I feel that a picture is something to be held on to forever, and if I can make it as perfect as it can be – be it the settings (black and white, sepia and so forth) or the way it is positioned in the album, I want your pictures to tell a story.

I feel lucky and privileged not only to be part of your special day, but also to be doing something that I love.
